The Hershey Symphony Orchestra Presents Free Concert: happy Birthday Sousa & Friends

HERSHEY, PA – The Hershey Symphony Orchestra continues its 2004-2005 Concert Season with the ever- popular Young Persons’ Concert on Saturday, November 6, 2004, 3:00 p.m., Hershey Theatre.  This concert introduces children of all ages to the world of instruments and symphonic music and will feature students from the Central Pennsylvania Suzuki Association.  The Central PA Suzuki Association works to develop a child’s potential through application, environment and training.  (More info on this Association can be found at www.centralpasuzuki.org.)

The musical program is planned especially for young listeners. This concert is free and open to the public.  Tickets are not required for admission to this concert.

“The Hershey Symphony Orchestra Society strives to build an awareness and understanding of music among young listeners.  We strongly encourage parents, children, educators and students to attend this special tribute to Sousa, Dvorak, and Ives” says HSO Director Sandra Dackow.
